This was an assignment for my illustrator class. A vector portrait of anyone. I picked Christian Bale cause he's a sexy beast XD I had a ton of fun with this I think I found a new medium to fall in love with.

I wonder how you can do this in adobe but in film
well... transferring video into photoshop or illustrator and do "rotoscoping" which is just vectorizing a sequential set of images
and export them in AVI

I've never rotoscoped before but I assume I'll have to do it sometime in the near future. All I did was trace over the original image in Illustrator

did it turn out as good as everyone says? I haven't seen it yet. oh and Avatar is only on Book 3: Fire. They aren't making anymore seasons after the third one.

Personally, I found vectors to be a pain in the butt at times, but you did a great job on this one :] If you like it, do more!! I'd like to see.
