I like Teen Titans. I read that Starfire, Animal Man and
Adam strange from DC were gonna get killed by
a vilain from Apokolipse who got murdered by Lobo after he fell into his own trap, Devilance the pursuer
he was "the god of the chase" the planet was a whole trap initself.

see there was an entity killing off the "NewGods" left and right
This new god of the chase thought Starfire from TT had seen something,
allong with animal man and Adam strange, only Gods can see so he sought them
out. The planet was an entire trap devised for their capture (this is what Starfire said)
after the guy is free he seeks them out and tries to kill em three but Lobo kills him.
